Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 04 October

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 04 October 2024:

The sun is out, the temperatures are rising and we are ready for a beautiful day at sea! Having a busy day ahead of us we welcomed all guests aboard excited about what we might encounter. Leaving Kleinbaai Harbour behind us for all our trips we headed further into the bay where we encountered some of our seasonal visitors, the gentle Southern Right whales, our beloved Bronze whaler sharks around the Shark cage diving boats and of course the Cape fur seals colony on Geyser Rock and some of our smallest members, the endangered African Penguins. Throughout the day we got some very close-up looks that filled both crew and guests with loads of joy. Once again, thanks everyone for joining our Marine Big 5 trips and we will see you tomorrow for another beautiful day out at sea!
