Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 05 October 2025:
A windy and adventurous day has come to an end here in Kleinbaai. With wind picking up from the west, the swell built up throughout the day, which our seasonal visitors, the Southern Right whales, enjoyed thoroughly. While we got some great looks at the individuals swimming alongside the vessel, some of them offered a great show for both crew and guests! Some of the critically endangered African Penguins were seen waddling on the pebble beach of sunbathing on top of boulders close to the water. The Cape fur seals were watching us curiously off Geyser Rock while cruising up and down Shark Alley. Thanks again for joining again, and we will see you again once the wind has settled!
