Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 08 August 2023:
Dream Catcher was out on the water early again with a busy day! The morning saw some fantastic sightings of Southern Right whales in our bay along with the bay next to ours, with both adults and juveniles seen. The Humpback whales were also seen throughout the middle of the day moving through the deeper waters at the edge of the bay. We enjoyed time spent around the island system throughout the day with the Cape fur seals as numerous and captivating as they always are along with the African penguins of Dyer Island as they made there way to and from the water and rested on land.
