Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 08 February

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 08 February 2022:

Our first sighting of today’s tour was two African Penguins along the coast that was followed by a shark cruising in the surf zone close to Die Gruis. Further down the coastline we also stopped at the shark cage diving boats, where we saw some bronze whaler sharks. After we were heading through the bay, we had some fog coming in, so we were heading to the famous Shark Alley to see the Cape Fur seals and more penguins on Dyer Island.
