Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 10 April

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 10 April 2022:

After a few days on land, we could finally head out again. We cruised along the coast and stopped at our sister company to see the bronze whaler sharks. Out in the bay in deeper waters we spotted a hammerhead shark, that was extremely lucky as we only see a few of them every year. The Cape fur seals in Shark Alley were having a great time, jumping high out of the water. At Dyer Island, we watched the endangered African Penguin and saw plenty of Swift Terns flying over the island.
