Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 12 August 2023:
It was a Winter wonderland out on the sea today with some spectacular sightings, including a mix of whale encounters. Our morning trips had a few shy Southern Right whales however it was the Humpback whales that really shone on the first and second trips. The afternoon seemed to bring the Southern Right whales alive as we had some stunning encounters with this species as the day progressed. The trips also saw us spending some time around the Islands with the Cape fur seals and African penguins.
