Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 15 October
Written by October 15 2023
Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa, Welcome to GAnsbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 15 October 2023:
Another wild and windy day out on the bay, filled with some beautiful marine wildlife sightings. Throughout the day Southern Right whales were spotted in the bay with multiple still seen along our coastline. These gentle giants were in no way deterred by some choppier conditions and each of our trips was able to have some wonderful views of them. The trips also made stops in the shallow section of the bay to watch the Bronze Whaler sharks and spent some time around the island system enjoying the always-present Cape Fur seals and spotting the Endangered African penguins.
A big thank you to all our guests who joined us today, we hope you enjoyed your time spent out on the sea with the Dyer Island Cruises Team.
