Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 21 October 2024:
We started rather early today to avoid strong winds coming later on. We saw some incredible Southern Right whales very close to shore in our bay, amazing creatures being very nice and relaxed so we could have some lovely sightings. We, as usual, didn’t skip a shark cage-diving vessel and enjoyed some Bronze Whaler sharks by them. After a beautiful drive, we joined the Cape Fur seals in the alley and watched some African penguins on Dyer Island.
