Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 25 January

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 25 January 2024:

We had some great weather today and used the opportunity to head out to sea. We started our journey along the coast towards Uilenkraalsmond and continued further down the coast to the shark cage diving vessel where we spent some time to have a closer look at the Bronze Whaler sharks. After we cruised along a reef system and picked up some kelp to investigate we stopped at Dyer Island to see the endangered African Penguin and had a look at the Cape Cormornats. of course we also stopped at the Cape fur seal colony and what a great sightings seeing thousands of fur seals at once!
