Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 26 March

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 26 March 2023:

After some stronger winds yesterday we still had a bit of swell coming into our bay and some rain as well. After launching from Kleinbaai we cruised along the coast towards the shark cage diving boats to see some sharks. Before we reached Dyer Island we spotted some penguins and a Bryde’s whale moving across a reef into the deeper waters. We also passed through the famous Shark Alley to see the Cape fur seals and had  a closer look at Dyer Island.
