Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 31 October 2025:
After a day off the ocean, we’re back and ready for whatever the sea has in store! Today’s trips were nothing short of incredible, each filled with breathtaking marine sightings. We began our journey by cruising along the coastline, making a stop at the local shark diving vessels to admire the magnificent Bronze whaler sharks. In the calm waters of Pearly Beach, a few Southern Right whale pairs were spotted, gracefully moving through the bay. To wrap up our day, we made our final stop around Dyer Island and Geyser Rock home to the ever-active Cape fur seals and vibrant birdlife.
