Written by April 28 2022

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 28 April 2022:
It was a beautiful day to have been out at sea this morning and we were fortunate to have spotted some beautiful sightings of a Bryde’s whale just behind the islands. After spending a few minutes with the whale, we headed out towards Shark Alley where we had some great looks at our Cape Fur Seals on Geyser Rock after which we stopped by Dyer Island to have a look at the endangered African Penguins. Our trip was filled with some amazing pelagic bird sightings as well, including some Giant Petrels, White Chinned Petrels, Sooty Shearwaters and we even got to see a Shy Albatross flying by the boat!
