Bryde’s Wahle! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog
Written by January 20 2021

Out of Kleinbaai harbour we were heading along the coast past Uilenkraalsmond and towards Pearly Beach. From there we went out into the deeper waters of the bay and were super lucky with the Bryde’s whale managed to find. The whale was very relaxed around our vessel Dream Catcher and was slowly swimming alongside us. After such a great sighting we were heading straight to Geyser Rock for the Cape Fur seals. Before heading back to Kleinbaai we made two stops closer to Dyer Island and managed to spot some African penguins and other bird species.
What species did we see today?
