Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 02 July 2023:
Incredible day out at sea with some stunning sightings of whales: a Southern Right and a Humpback whale. We also enjoyed some Bronze whaler sharks by Slashfin. On our first trip, we went around Danger Point and went by Birkenhead Rock and saw some spectacular bird action with Shy albatrosses and White-chinned petrels circling around us. Then we spotted a spout! It was a Southern Right whale, it was a touch shy we got some lovely sightings of it, however. On the second trip, we were so lucky with some incredible juvenile Humpback whale sightings, with the whale coming nice and close to investigate.
