Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 06 January 2023:
It’s been another sunny day but with some cold wind from the southern ocean. Our first tour started off with a cruise along the coastal waters and a visit to the shark cage diving boats. We then made our way through the deeper parts of the bay to Geyser Rock and Dyer Island. On the second tour, we also visited the Cape fur seals on Geyser Rock and looked at the penguins on Dyer Island, but before we got there spotted a pod of common dolphins in the bay.
