Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 10 April

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 10 April 2024:

We had another day at sea before the wind picked up once again. As usual, we were first searching along the coast for marine life and stopped at the shark cage diving boats where we saw the Bronze Whaler sharks. We then continued to Dyer Island, saw some Giant Petrel and passed the Cape fur seal that call Geyser Rock their home. After having spent some time with them we continued our journey out into the bay and were lucky to have found a Bryde’s Whale before returning to Kleinbaai harbour.
