Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 11 March

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 11 March 2022:

As usual, our tour starts with a stop at the shark cage diving boats and we were not disappointed and got to see a couple of bronze whaler sharks. Also in deeper waters, we have been lucky and got to see a shy Bryde’s whale surfacing a few times before disappearing into the bay. Another highlight was to see all the Cape fur seals on Geyser Rock and the endangered African penguin on Dyer Island.
