Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 13 October 2025:
Another day well spent here at Marine Dynamics. Heading out on our Marine Big 5 adventure, we were pleased to find some Southern Right whale pairs waiting for us in the bay. The gentle giants made a beautiful appearance throughout all our trips as they were gliding on the surface, with the lovely Humpback whales being spotted in deeper waters. Our trips made their usual stop in the Shallows to spot the glorious Bronze whaler sharks. We finished the amazing day by stopping near Geyser Rock and Dyer Island for a little glimpse of the endangered African penguins and playful Cape fur seals.
