Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 22 July 2022:
We had a terrific trip today to kickstart the weekend! We sighted a Humpback Whale which we stayed with for some time. Our incredible sea birds truly spoiled us, throughout the trip we spotted many Shy Albatrosses, Cape Gannets, African Oyster Catchers and Sub Antarctic Skuas. At Dyer Island, we got to see some of the endangered African Penguins on land and over by Geyser rock we enjoyed our playful Cape Fur seals around the boat. In the shallows, we were extremely fortunate to catch a quick glimpse of a Great White shark!
