Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 25 April 2023:
We were very fortunate to encounter a raft of African Penguins diving amongst Terns, Cape Cormorants, and gulls straight out of Kleinbaai Harbour this morning! Upon investigating a little closer we also spotted a Bronze Whaler shark cruising through this bait ball amongst the diving birds. We continued our journey towards our shark cage diving vessel, Slashfin where we got a better look at the beautiful Bronze Whaler sharks around the boat. Over in the world-famous Shark Alley, the 60,000-strong Cape Fur seal colony delighted everyone on board and put on quite a show for our guests! Following this we made a pass by Dyer Island before being the journey back to the harbour.

With a local population of 60,000, it's no wonder our guests capture so many photographs of these wonderfully playful marine mammals.
