Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 26 October 2023:
Today was a beautiful day out on the bay with not only some fantastic weather conditions but also some wonderful marine wildlife encounters. The day saw encounters with multiple Southern Right whales, with some stunning views throughout the bay. The trips also enjoyed a visit to the Shallows to view the Bronze whaler sharks, glimmering in the sunshine as they cruised along the surface as well as visits to Dyer Island to see the Endangered African penguins and Geyser Rock to see the Cape fur seal colony.

What species did we see today?
