Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa – Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 26 October 2025:
With a bit of a breeze out there and some swell we went on another Marine Big 5 adventure. Our trips started off by visiting the local bronze whaler sharks in our usual coastal spot near the Shallows there, the Bronze whaler sharks put up a little show as they swam around the diving cage. In pearly beach it was a bit difficult to spot the quiet guardians of the ocean due to the swell but we are happy to say that our patients was rewarded as everyone ended up getting a good look at the Southern right whales throughout all our trips. A final stop was made near Geyser rock and Dyer Island before we called it a day.
