Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 27 October 2023:
Heading out from Kleinbaai Harbour into a new day of exciting sightings. Moving along the shallow areas to find some Southern Right whales was again not disappointing. Some beautiful whale sightings came our way throughout the day. As usual, we headed over to the Shark Cage diving vessels whilst the boats were out to get a glimpse of the very active Bronze Whaler sharks. All three of our trips today enjoyed time around the Islands, heading to where Cape fur seals were relaxing on Geyser Rock and some cooled down in the waters of Shark Alley and sneaked around our vessel. Last but not least our guests got a look at the African Penguins on Dyer Island with our last trip lucky enough to encounter two rafts of these Endangered seabirds out in the bay.
