Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 28 September 2023:
We had a really nice day at sea with plenty of southern right whales just outside Kleinbaai. Throughout the three trips, we had whales all around the boat, some were rolling around and others were diving relaxed toward us. At the shark cage diving boats we saw a few bronze whaler sharks and encountered thousands of Cape Fur seals in the famous Shark Alley. Before heading to the harbor we also stopped to see some of the endangered African Penguin on Dyer Island. We couldn’t have asked for a better day at sea.

What species did we see today?
