Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 29 March

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 29 March 2023:

On our first tour, we were heading off towards Danger Point and deeper waters in the hope to find a Bryde’s whale and were lucky to not just find one but at least two feeding on some small fish. After a visit to the Cape fur seal and Dyer Island for the penguins we moved back towards coastal waters where we saw the Bronze whaler sharks at Slashfin. The second tour was for a local school rugby team and we also visited the Cape fur seal colony and Dyer Island before passing by the shark cage diving boat.
