We had another day with lots of sunshine and great sightings. On our way towards Danger Point we spotted a few rafts of the African Penguin in total it must have been close to hundred penguins. So great to see the out at sea still being able to find some fish. Further along the way we spotted a spout quite far out and were lucky to encounter two Bryde’s whale in the same area and what a beautiful sight to see them surfacing at the same time. On our way to Dyer Island, we saw some pelagic seabirds including a Shy Albatross. Quite a large number of Cape Fur seals was having a swim in Shark Alley and ass we were heading around to Dyer Island we came across some Giant Petrels too. A couple of minutes out the harbour we saw thousands of Cape Cormorants in the shallower waters close to the coast line, what a great trip.
What species did we see today?
