Southern right and humpback whale! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog
Written by September 6 2021

One of the whales we encountered was very curious and approached our vessel several times while we were drifting in neutral. On our way to Dyer Island, Kira spotted a humpback whale, how lucky to see two species in one trip. After having seen all the Cape Fur seals we stopped quickly closer to Dyer Island and continued back towards Kleinbaai harbour.
What species did we see today?
