Marine Big 5 Daily Blog 6 November

Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.

Trip Summary 6 November 2022:

We may be nearing the end of the Southern right whale season in South Africa but the sightings continue to wow us. Today’s trips both had some fantastic encounters with a few mother-calf pairs that we were lucky enough to come across. Rounding out the trips we made a quick turn by the shark cage diving vessels to see the Bronze whaler sharks and through Shark Alley to visit both Geyser Rock and Dyer Island and the Cape fur seal and penguin colonies.
