Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 11 October 2023:
What an absolutely stunning day out in the bay! Not only did we have some lovely conditions – what felt like a true spring day with the sun shining and low winds and swells, but the whale sightings were fantastic, with each of our trips experiencing some beautiful encounters with Southern Right whales. Each of our trips spent some time around the islands, catching glimpses of the Endangered African penguin on Dyer Island along with watching the Cape fur seals of Geyser Rock sunning themselves or cooling off in the Alley. We also had the chance to watch the Bronze whaler sharks glimmer in the sunshine with visits to the shallow section of the bay.
A big thank you to all our guests that joined us today, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
