Whale Watching near Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Gansbaai, home of the Marine Big 5.
Trip Summary 28 March 2023:
We had a beautiful calm morning with a light breeze from the west. After a cruise along the coast, we stopped at Marine Dynamics’ shark cage diving boat where we saw many Bronze whaler sharks and a variety of seabirds. After crossing a reef system we moved towards the deeper waters of Pearly Beach and the to Geyser Rock. There we watched thousands of Cape fur seals, the pups were having a great time in the water following the boat up and down Shark Alley. At Dyer Island, we made two stops to see the endangered African Penguin and all the other seabirds. At the end of our tour, we passed by Danger Point lighthouse.

With a local population of 60,000, it's no wonder our guests capture so many photographs of these wonderfully playful marine mammals.
