Whales! Marine Big 5 Daily Blog
Written by November 6 2021
After a launch from Gansbaai this morning and a stop at Geyser Rock and Dyer Island we spotted some southern right whales in Pearly Beach. We saw one female surrounded by two calves and were waiting for the other mother to surface but weren’t able to see her before we continued to the shark cage diving boats. On the second tour of the day, we started with a stop at the shark cage diving boats and whales in Pearly Beach again, before returning past the islands.
